Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator with experience in natural stone fabrication to join our production team. This role involves operating, programming, and maintaining CNC machinery used to cut, shape, and finish materials such as granite, marble, quartz, and other natural or engineered stones. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high‑quality finished products.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC saws, routers, and other stone‑fabrication machinery to cut and shape natural and engineered stone materials.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, CAD files, templates, and job specifications.
• Program CNC machines (e.g., using CAD/CAM software) to perform precise cuts, edge profiles, sink cutouts, and other fabrication tasks.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products for accuracy, defects, and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on CNC machinery and related tools.
• Set up tooling, calibrate machines, and adjust cutting parameters for different stone types.
• Safely handle and move slabs using cranes, clamps, and material handling equipment.
• Collaborate with production staff, installers, and project managers to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workspace in compliance with company safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical or software issues and report any major equipment problems.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CNC machines in a stone shop or similar manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with natural stone materials (granite, marble, quartzite, soapstone, etc.) and engineered stone.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication instructions.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials with proper equipment support.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in polishing, edging, and hand‑finishing stone pieces.
• Knowledge of CNC maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with waterjet systems, bridge saws, or robotic fabrication equipment.
• OSHA safety training or stone industry‑related certifications.

PROJECT MANAGER / SALES

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a strong attention to detail. This person will interact directly with clients and contractors as well as Sales and Production.

Compensation & Benefits

Full Time $25 – $30/ hr based on experience & qualifications plus commission

• Monday – Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• One Saturday per month 9 AM – 1 PM

Requirements

Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for keeping the warehouse organized and running smoothly. This position handles incoming and outgoing materials, manages slab inventory, photographs new inventory, maintains slab displays, and ensures materials are ready for fabrication and installation.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks safely.
• Receive and inspect incoming slab shipments.
• Photograph new slabs and update inventory records.
• Organize and maintain slab inventory and remnant areas.
• Clean, resurface, and maintain slab displays.
• Pull and stage materials for production and installation.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with inventory counts and tracking materials.
• Work with production and installation teams to ensure materials are ready when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work around stone slabs.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Reliable and able to work independently.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
