You’ve seen the stunning kitchen transformations using Quartz on Home Improvement Shows, but is it the right selection for your next project?
What is Quartz?
Engineered Quartz simply referred to as Quartz is a man-made stone composed of 90 to 94% crushed quartz, 6 to 10% polymer resins and pigmented binders is mixed in hoppers and poured into large pans creating slabs proprietary patterns. This manufacturing process creates an extremely durable and nonporous slab.
Quartz is desirable because of its extreme durability and is highly resistant to surface damage than other stone. However, all stone can be damaged by force and no stone is chip proof. Objects hitting edges, particularly at sinks or dishwashers, may cause chips or surface markings. Capital Granite does not do service calls, or repair work on Engineered Quartz – we can recommend industry professionals for you to contact.

Material Selection
There are many manufactured Brands of Engineered Quartz in the market, offering hundreds of colors to select from. Capital Granite does not stock every color; however, we have sample towers for viewing.
Quartz samples are small cuts from a large slab; they do not fully display all the design elements and color variations of a full slab. If you’re interested in viewing full slabs of an Engineered Quartz, we will be able to point you in the right direction!
Once your material selection is made, we then purchase this material on your behalf. After the field measure is complete, our experienced craftsmen will fabricate and install your new countertops.
