Marble is a natural stone with classic beauty and unmatched elegance. Marble is heat resistant, but you will want to use extra caution to avoid anything acidic that could cause staining and etching. In high traffic areas we recommend a honed alternate finish to mute the shine. With the purchase of a marble countertop your sales rep will go over the proper Care & Maintenance for Marble and you will be asked to sign a waiver as staining and etching is not covered under our Stain Protection Plan or Lifetime Guarantee. Quartzite is a natural stone with the elegant look of marble, but with a strength greater than granite. The strength of quartzite makes it more challenging to fabricate. We carry over 20 unique quartzites some with vivid coloring, others that sparkle and some have the appearance of a marble look. Quartzite offers the premium style you are looking for along with superior strength and durability.

Soapstone is natural quarried stone. It gets its name from the distinct soft, soapy feel and honed texture. While it’s not as hard as granite, it is dense and nonporous leaving it bacteria resistant. Soapstone does not need to be sealed. Keep in mind, that over time, scratches and nicks will add to the patina and are part of the soapstone’s natural character.
